Holiday. It’s the best day. Ice-cream day.
So, come 6:30am tomorrow morning I’ll be on my way to New Zealand. I’ve never been before, so I’m excited to explore somewhere new & bust out some adventures with my wonderful man. Speaking of The Batman, while we are away we will be celebrating our one year anniversary! One year may not seem like a long time, but it’s important to me after everything. Plus I can easily say that I’ve felt more loved in this one year than I ever did in the 9 I spent with my ex-husband.
Also, I’ll get to meet some long term blog friends! I have dinner plans in place with Scribbles already, & hope to also meet up with the delightful Kim- both ladies I have known & adored for many years!
The hardest part about holidaying is leaving this face behind. HE MAKES IT SO HARD. The only dog I’ve ever known who cries actual tears when he is upset.
In fact, I think he was hoping we would accidentally pack him in with our luggage. SORRY PUPPALUP. No dice.
I love Perth, but I certainly love escaping once in a while. Especially when it’s as hot as it is over here at the moment. Makes for some good beaching & pretty photos, but I’m busting to get back to my other love, the rain. I’ll leave you with some sunny day pics from this past week.
I’m out guys, because I need to be up early as hell, still have a ton to do, & I’m just about this tired right now..

Have an amazing time in New Zealand – it’ll most likely be chilly here for you if this morning’s weather is anything to go by.

If my doggy cried actual tears I would probably have a broken heart, that and I’d never make it out of my house without her! And can we just talk for a second about hwo amazing your background and header are?! I am kind of a big giant dino nerd so it pretty much made my day! Xo Lori

Just came across your blog — so cute! I love finding bloggers who are from Perth. I was born there but grew up in the USA. I miss the beach! Have fun in New Zealand; it’s a beautiful country. Seriously amazing. :)
